St. John's-St. Luke UCC is part of the Detroit Metropolitan Association, of the Southeast Area Associations, of Michigan Conference, United Church of Christ. St. John's-St. Luke UCC was founded in 1833. The church has great historic significance as it was a part of the underground railroad, assisting many slaves across the Detroit River to freedom in Canada. They celebrated their 170th anniversary as a congregation in 2003. They are currently being served alternating weeks by 2 ministered, the Rev. Larry Hawkins and the Rev. James Womack.
From west and northwest: Take I-96, or the Lodge to its juncture with I-75. Continue east ("northbound I-75"), staying to the left in order to continue to the Gratiot Avenue extension, leaving I-75. At Gratiot, make a sharp right turn, passing on set of traffic lights, and proceed a long block to the traffic light at Russell. Turn left, and after about 200 feet turn left again into the fenced parking lot on the southeast side of the church.
From Downriver: Take I-75 to Gratiot Avenue extension and proceed as above.
From north and east: Take I-75, or I-94 to I-75 south, and watch for Gratiot exit. Continue as above.

The Philippine American Ecumenical Church USA UCC (PAECUSA UCC) is part of the Detroit Metropolitan Association, of the Southeast Area Associations, of Michigan Conference, United Church of Christ. PAECUSA UCC was founded in 1988.
From the west: Take I-696 to Campbell Hilton exit. While on service drive, Goodrich is one block before you get to Hilton. Turn right (south). Church is at the end of the block on the left.
From the east: Take I-696 to Mohawk Bermuda exit. Double back on service drive to eastbound and continue to Goodrich, as above. OR Take 8 mile Road to Hilton, which is one block before you get to Woodward Ave. Turn right (north) to Mapledale. Turn left (west) and the church is on your right.
From the north or south: Take I-75 to westbound I-696. Exit at Mohawk Bermuda, doubling back on the eastbound service drive to Goodrich, as above.
The church is on the northeast corner of Goodrich and Mapledale. Goodrich is one short block west of Hilton. Mapledale is one long block south of the I-696 service drive. Parking is in lot north of the church or on the street.
NOTE: Mohawk and Campbell are in Royal Oak, north of I-696. Bermuda and Hilton are in Ferndale, south of I-696.

Hope UCC of Fraser is part of the Detroit Metropolitan Association, of the Southeast Area Associations, of Michigan Conference, United Church of Christ. Hope UCC was established by the merger of Peace UCC and Zion-Grace UCC in 2001. The New name was chosen by a committee to expound the feelings of the congregation upon the merger. Rev. Ralph Brown has been their pastor since the merger.
From the West: Take I-696 to Groesbeck. Turn left and continue about two and a half miles to Utica Road. Turn left on Utica and pass Garfield to the church, which is on your right. Parking is north of the church.
From the southwest: You can take 8 Mile Road to Groesbeck. Stay in the left lane as you approach Groesbeck. Turn left and continue about two and a half miles to Utica Road. Turn left on Utica and pass Garfield to the church, which is on your right. Parking is north of the church.
From the Downriver and central area: Take I-94 to 12 Mile Road. Turn left on 12 Mile, cross Gratiot to the next light at Utica Road. Turn right on Utica. You will pass 13 Mile and Groesbeck before coming to Garfield Stay on Utica and you will see the church on your right.
From the northwest: Take I-75 to Big Beaver and continue to follow east, as it becomes Metropolitan Parkway, nine and a half miles to Utica Road. Turn right (south). After crossing14 Mile Road, look for the church on your left.

Grosse Pointe Park

Grace UCC of Grosse Pointe Park is part of the Detroit Metropolitan Association, of the Southeast Area Associations, of Michigan Conference, United Church of Christ. In 1924 a small frame building was erected on the present lot. Then in 1954 they built the present church. The frame building was kept until they could make an addition where the frame church sat. In October 2004, they celebrated 80 years of existence with a catered dinner. About 64 people were invited to attend. The congregation is very small. They have about 20 members who are trying very hard to keep the church going. Many of them are in ill health so a lot of tasks fall on the shoulders of a few. Their interim pastor of many years was the late Rev. Henry Reinwald. Their current pastor is The Rev. Marcia Farriow.
From northeast: Take I-94 to Outer Drive exit. Turn left on Outer Drive and continue straight through the next traffic light (where Outer Drive turns left and Chandler Park is on the right). The street becomes Alter Road. Pass traffic lights at Warren, Mack, Charlevoix, and Vernor, turn left at Kercheval and go three blocks to the church.
From northwest, west and Downtown: Take I-75, or I-96, or the Lodge to I-94. Take I-94 east to the Chalmers-Outer Drive exit. Continue on the service drive past Chalmers to Outer Drive and turn right. At the next traffic light, the street becomes Alter Road. Continue straight ahead on Alter and as in above Paragraph.
Parking behind the church is very limited and there are meters on Kercheval.

The Chinese Community Church was founded in 1977. They are a very small congregation, meeting only once a month. Rev. Wayne Boyd has been serving as temporary pastor.
From east and northeast: Take I-696 to Greenfield Rd. Turn left and go one-quarter mile to 10 mile Rd. Turn right and go 1/2 mile to the church.
From north: Take easiest route to 10 Mile Rd, then to the church.
From southeast: Take the Lodge to 10 Mile Rd. Turn left, crossing Evergreen, and go 3/4 of a mile to the church.
From Downriver: Take Southfield to the Lodge, ("Lansing" route from left-hand lane), then exit at 10 Mile Rd. Turn left, after crossing Evergreen
Note: The church is 3/4 of a mile on your left. OR take Telegraph to 10 Mile Rd. and turn east. The church is about 1 mile on your right. The Chinese Community Church is renting space from Southfield Presbyterian Church, which is just west of WXYZ-TV and Lawrence Tech.
